LIONS@springwood has helped spread some early Christmas cheer by once again supporting the Logan East Community Neighbourhood Association (LECNA) with a donation of $5,000 worth of hampers.
Lions Vice-Captain Daniel Merrett ventured out to the Club’s official social facility on Tuesday to help deliver 50 hampers filled with food and household essentials for struggling families in the Logan area.
It is the third consecutive year that LIONS@springwood – which surpassed 100,000 members in 2012 – has supported LECNA’s Christmas hamper appeal.
By contributing towards the appeal, LIONS@springwood hopes to bring some joy to those less fortunate this Christmas.
