Please find below an edited transcript from what was said during the Q&A session
.

Jed Adcock: Hi guys, Jed here. Ready to go when you are, so fire away!

Laura: Hi Jed, How are you enjoying being a dad?

Jed Adcock: Hi Laura. I love being a dad. It's a different experience but wouldn't change anything!

Tim: Congrats on being named Co-Captain, how are you finding the role?

Jed Adcock: Hectic to start off with! I am being roped into doing many, many interviews and media requests. I'm looking forward to getting into games to focus on football!

Jack: Are you going to be playing in the Nab cup this weekend?

Jed Adcock: Yes I am Jack. Looking forward to getting down to Wagga. Are you coming to the game?

Amber: Hi Jed, Lovely to speak to you on here. How are you prepping for this season?

Jed Adcock: Hi Amber. Not too bad. Still a bit behind. I had a bit of a clean-up (surgery) in the off season but hopefully catch up over the next month and be firing for round 1.

Jackie: Hi Jed! Congratulations on the co-captaincy! Which of the young boys do you think will be up for Round One selection?

Jed Adcock: Unfortunately Michael Close is injured at the moment but Paparone and Mayes will both be pushing for Round 1 selection.

Guest: Hi Jed, How do you think the Lions will perform this year based on preseason

Jed Adcock: That's hard to answer. It's been a very good pre-season but every Club is probably coming off a good pre-season, so until you get into the first six rounds you are a bit unsure where you stand. All signs so far point to some improvement but we'll have to wait and see!

Guest: Hi Jed, we have the same birthday! 15/11!

Jed Adcock: Gday Scorpio!

Jack: hi Jed i love the way you attack the footy were you impressed with the two wins

Jed Adcock: Yeah it was a terrific start. Great spread of contribution across all players.

Tom: I am an aspiration backman what is the best advice you have received on being a defender?

Jed Adcock: Hi Tom. I think getting your defensive principles right first, but then being able to balance that with attack and being able to use the ball well.

Alex: Hi Jed, how do you feel about the small amount of Victorian games? P.S we have the same birthday!

Jed Adcock: Another birthday! Yes the Club was disappointed with only 5 games in Vic, but hopefully everyone will get down to see us against the Pies in Round 3 of the NAB - it's shaping to be a good game!

Conor: Hi Jed, how do you think the recruitments of Moloney and Martin will impact the boys this year? Go lions! Congrats on the co-captaincy also!

Jed Adcock: Thanks Conor. So far, Brent and Stef have fit in really well. They add some great experience into our midfield and forward line. Hopefully they'll take this footy club to the next level throughout the season.

Pat: Hey Jed, who are some of the more difficult opponents you gone up against?

Jed Adcock: How long can we go back?! James Hird, without a doubt. Brad Johnson from the Bulldogs, and Phil Matera. Gary Ablett Jnr, and Nathan Brown (Tigers).

Chris B: Hey Jed, well done again mate on the co captaincy- terrific effort. Both you and Brownie are Victorian boys and are leading our great club. Has there been any time in your career you have found it quite tough living in QLD and do you speak to any of the young fellas about moving away from their home state?

Jed Adcock: Hi Chris. Being from country Victoria, I knew I had to move anyway, whether it was to Melbourne or interstate. So I had already accepted in my head that I was moving and therefore found the transition quite easy. The good thing about this Club is that we have a great culture and welfare staff and it seems that everyone fits in really well up here and enjoys their time in Brisbane.

Jackie: How is Patty Karnezis going?

Jed Adcock: Patty has had a great pre-season and he's got some beautiful long dark locks growing at the moment. He is a Greek Adonis.

Alex: What do you think of Zorks for a possible brownlow this year? he played so well on the weekend!

Jed Adcock: If you ask him, he's a shoo-in!

Jack: i think you should get twitter

Jed Adcock: I'm too busy chasing my daughter around the lounge room Jack, to ever get a chance to check it!

Chris: Hey Jed, what would you say is the biggest change in the game since you were recruited in 2003 especially in the back half of the ground?

Jed Adcock: I think the pace of the game is definitely the biggest factor. The rotation policy probably means now that defenders don't get much of a rest through the game.

Amanda: Hi Jed! So excited to be talking to you on here! You are my favourite player, but I was disappointed to realise that I couldn't select you to be on my membership card! Now that you are co-captain, do you think you will be able to change this for next year?! :)

Jed Adcock: Thanks Amanda, I was very sad not to get a gig on the membership cards. I'll have a word to the people upstairs - hopefully now I've got more pull around here.

Erin: Hey Jed, what do you think of the heritage jumper ? I think it should be the away jumper! Also its my dad's birthday tomorrow and we're fanatic brisbane supporters, can i get a happy birthday ? :)

Jed Adcock: Happy birthday Dad! And I love our current jumper.

Alex: Hi Jed, congratulations on the co-captaincy! love seeing your push off half-back! What do you think it's going to be like to lead the club hand in hand with browny? i think you'll become one of the next cult figures at the brisbane lions, if you aren't already! look forward to the season!!

Jed Adcock: Hi Alex. If Browny continues to get kneed in the head, then I'll be leading the club by myself!

Jack: should i put you in my supercoach

Jed Adcock: I don't know Jack, there might be some better buys out of the younger defenders at the club, rather than me.

Jack: will you be attending the Victorian family day in a couple weeks time

Jed Adcock: Yes! I am looking forward to it.

Alex: You dont push up forward much , this year do you think you could do a bit of a gangnam style celebration if you were to score a goal? Haha

Jed Adcock: Can't dance!

Jackie: Hahaha! Not a fan of Patty's hair. :P How are Blacky and Browny tracking along?

Jed Adcock: Both have had very relaxing pre-seasons! Browny will be cherry ripe for Round 1 and Blacky will be doing everything he can to play Round 1 as well.

Jack: wouldnt mind seeing you guys winning the nab cup winning form is good form

Jed Adcock:  Obviously it'd be great to win the NAB Cup. You're right - winning form is good form, but we still need to make sure that we are focusing in on Round 1.

Lachlan: What's your hobby outside of footy?

Jed Adcock: Besides a bit of family time, I don't mind getting out and swinging the golf stick!

Karen: Just saw a pic of you on twitter typing away. You're going to get a stiff neck if you keep sitting like that, mate :P Congrats on the co-captaincy gig. Well deserved!

Jed Adcock: Thanks for the tip! I'll straighten up.

Jackson: i am so excited to see you guys play again on the weekend. The only bad thing is that it will not be on FOX FOOTY. Do you know if there will be a live streaming of the game through the lions website?

Jed Adcock: I think they're looking into it Jackson - stay tuned to lions.com.au for the info.

Jackie: Any chance of you playing stints in the midfield? Loved it a few years ago when you got a chance there!

Jed Adcock: Yeah, might be a chance to push through, but will be playing mainly across half back this year.

Coops: Hey Jed, congratulations on becoming captain, do you think we will see Marco Paparone this year?

Jed Adcock: Yeah, I think there's every chance he will be playing senior footy at some stage through the year.

Amber: What keeps you motivated?

Jed Adcock: My three year contract! Haha. No, just the pursuit to win a flag and be the best possible player that you can be.

Jack:
how was it training on the hockey fields

Jed Adcock: It was sharp. Wet too.

Jackson: i hope the lions beat collingwood, it is on my birthday and my uncle supports collingwood so i will be so happy

Jed Adcock: We'll try our best to win it for you Jackson. We always like a win against the Pies.

Jackie: Which of our second and third year players have you been most impressed with?

Jed Adcock: Claye Beams has had a great pre-season and is hoping for a full season in the seniors.

Alex: Saw Cornelius take a monster grab on the weekend, are you capable of such heights??

Jed Adcock: No. Can't get further than two feet off the ground!

Jack: how is matt leuenburger travling along

Jed Adcock: Leuey is travelling well and there's a possiblity of him having a run around this weekend, we'll have to wait for the teams to be announced.

Thanks guys. Hope to see you all at the Gabba this year - we love your support. Over and out!
