Brisbane Lions fans will once again be able to watch both the seniors and reserves in action on the same day and on the same ground this Sunday at the Gabba.

The Lions Reserves will host their NEAFL season-opener against the Sydney Swans Reserves in a ‘curtain closer’ match on the Gabba at 3:15pm – AFTER the senior game.

This gives fans the opportunity to stick around after the Lions’ clash with Geelong and witness some of the team’s next generation stars in action.

Sunday's match is currently the only NEAFL game scheduled for the Gabba this season, with the remaining Lions Reserves home games to be played at Coorparoo.

However, the Club remains hopeful of utilising the venue for 'curtain closer' games in the future.
