“They reckon (the match) is just coincidence but I don’t know about that”, he laughed.

“Maybe a bit closer towards the game the texts will come, I might even throw a few in as well, stir the pot a little bit”.

Ticket sales for the Easter Saturday clash have been strong. With more than 3500 tickets sold, the Club today launched its home game campaign for 2015 – “Get To The Gabba”.

“To get them (Collingwood) first up this year it’s going to be great and hopefully we can come away with a win and I don’t get booed too much”, he said.

“I look forward to it, but it’s not about me versus my old team, it’s about our young side that’s going forward and we’ve got the biggest club in Australia first up.

“It’s a great challenge for us, it’s a great challenge for all our members and supporters to get to the game and support us.

“It should make for a good contest.”
