LIONS recruit Allen Christensen is relishing the opportunity of rotating through the forward line and midfield under the helm of coach Justin Leppitsch.
Christensen said he expects to be used in a similar role alongside the ‘Mozzies’ – Dayne Zorko, Josh Green and Lewis Taylor.
“It’s going to be exciting playing with Zorks, Greeny and Lewy Taylor.
“Leppa and the coaching staff think I’ve got attributes that I can be a midfielder and attributes that I can play a small forward, high forward role but that will just depend on who we’re playing”, Christensen said.
“Hopefully I can gel with those guys over the next three or four weeks and going from there we start tearing up some teams”, the 23-year old told Cameron Ling and Mark Bickley on the AFL’s First Bounce this morning.
“Those boys have got some speed.
“I’ll take it, I’m happy to be called fast”, he said with a laugh.
