Stoppage Strategy Coach, Danny Daly, says despite Gold Coast’s injury woes the Lions must be wary of the Suns’ dangerous forward line stocks.

Suns injury woes

“From a forward line point of view, they’re very tall. They’ve got Smith and Dixon down there and those tall type of players so we’ve just got to nullify their influence and hope they don’t impact the scoreboard”, Daly said.

“Through the midfield Prestia’s had a pretty good year, he’s their number two clearance player behind David Swallow, who is out now with injury, but he’s probably one guy we need to shut down.

“We haven’t done a great job in the last two weeks, trying to shut the oppositions main midfielders down so whoever gets the job tomorrow will obviously be given the message that Prestia doesn’t get involved too much.

“They’re probably the three ones at this stage we’ll be looking at”, Daly said.
