Last Week’s Events

Dayne Beams was on fire with 38 possessions and 10 marks for a game high 152, ahead of the ever reliable ruckman Stefan Martin who complimented his 31 hit outs with a handy 25 touches for 112. Unfortunately the biggest news from the game was bad, with popular trade in Tom Rockliff breaking his ribs again in the first quarter. In true Pig fashion, he still managed to score 90 but looks set to miss multiple weeks.

On The Radar

Dayne Beam’s price has bottomed out, with a drop of 50K since the start of the season. His huge score on the weekend has left him with a break-even of just 76 heading into his last game before the bye. He has a three round average of 118 and is a bargain for that price.

Top 5 Scorers

  • Lewis Taylor (FWD, $383,000) 107

What’s Coming Up?

Despite coming up against Shane Mumford, Stefan Martin looks set to continue his good form against the big man after comfortably winning the head to head battle last time they met. In that match he had 16 touches and 100, but I think he can go even bigger this time around.
