THE LIONS have been granted permission by the AFL for Pearce Hanley to be transferred from the Club’s Long Term Injury List back to the Primary List.

Under the agreement, lodged on Tuesday, the 26-year old completed the minimum eight week requirement.

Hanley had hip surgery in February.

Meanwhile, forward, Michael Close, has been placed on the Long Term Injury List.

Close, 20, ruptured his ACL at Etihad Stadium in the Lions’ Round 2 loss to North Melbourne.

These changes allow midfielder Zac O’Brien to be able to remain on the Club’s Primary List.
