It's considered one of the best upsets in Fitzroy’s history – it was Round 11, Fitzroy v Collingwood at Princes Park in 1992.

With Fitzroy outside the top six and Collingwood on top of the ladder at the time, the Lions were coming in with a challenge on their hands.

Fitzroy were leading by 27 points at three-quarter time but were overcome with a seven-goal onslaught by the Pies in the final term, leaving the Lions behind with two minutes to go.

Until their saving grace came in Paul Roos, who was on the receiving end of a long bomb into the square and followed through with a left-footed snap to secure the win with just 11 seconds to go.

The final score was Fitzroy 13.14 (92) vs Collingwood 13.11 (89).
