There is no such thing as an easy game in the AFL, says Brisbane Lions Senior Coach Chris Fagan.

Despite the media reporting that the 2017 Fixture appears ‘easier’ than the Lions' 2016 Fixture, Fagan is not getting carried away.

“Draws are draws. They come out and it’s pretty hard to assess whether they are easy or hard. You can’t always predict how other teams are going to play,’’ Fagan said to the Courier-Mail.

“I don’t like to get into the business of predicting the strength of a draw.

“Every game is hard to win.

“And every game is hard-fought and takes a lot of planning, preparation and effort.’’

The Brisbane Lions will play three of their first four games in southeast Queensland. These first four games are also against teams who all finished outside of the top eight in 2016.

The Lions will host the Western Bulldogs, GWS Giants, Adelaide, Geelong, Carlton, North Melbourne, Essendon, Richmond, Port Adelaide, Fremantle and the Gold Coast SUNS at home.

AND in good news for the Lions' Melbourne fans, the Lions will play six matches in Melbourne, including two at the MCG against Collingwood and Melbourne.
