The Gabba is currently undergoing a digital overhaul, with two new HD LED video display screens being installed at the venue this year.

What does this mean for fans? A better viewing experience including high definition replays and scores, and enhanced visibility right around the stadium.

The screens are designed to provide excellent image and video quality, even over long distances, and will ensure that fans don’t miss a minute of the on-field action, wherever they sit.

With work already underway on the Eastern stand screen replacement, it is on-track to be operational in June so supporters can look forward to high definition replays and scores in the very near future.

Unfortunately this means that the Eastern screen between sections 58  and 59  will be unavailable at our Round 9 clash with the Adelaide Crows. The Gabba will install a replacement LED scoreboard, however game footage will only be available on the larger Western screen at this game.

The Brisbane Lions wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this process, however would like to assure fans that this screen renovation will make attending Lions games at The Gabba an even more enjoyable experience in the future.

Thanks for your patience – go Lions!
