Stefan Martin (RUC, $612,000) had another notable week, ranking in at 9th for the Round 8 Fantasy league with a season-high score of 134 points. Martin was the highest point scorer of the Round 8 match against Hawks and averages on 113 points per round in 2017. The ruckman had an impressive game with 63 hit-outs compared to Hawthorn ruckman, Ben McEvoy’s 34 hit-outs. Martin’s efforts throughout Round 8 were recognised by a $5,000 price increase. 

Following his season-high score last week, Tom Rockliff (MID, $723,000) was unstoppable, gathering a score of 130 points. Rockcliff is currently ranked first within the AFL Fantasy league with 1,034 points in 2017. The powerhouse player led the Lions on the weekend with 30 disposals and a goal. However, Rockliff didn’t escape the match unscathed, dislocating his left shoulder in the final term. The acting captain was amongst some of the best on field, reflected in his AFL Fantasy price increase of $9,000 following Round 8.

Dayne Zorko (MID, $651,000) finished third for the Lions with a score of 125 points. Zorko has continued to improve his fantasy score in the past two weeks, moving 3 places within the AFL Fantasy league ranking from 11th following Round 7 to 8th this week. Zorko’s average score has increased to 117 points per round. The midfielder made 31 disposals during the Round 8 clash. 

Ryan Lester (FWD, $409,000) received an impressive price increase of $26,000 following Round 8 after securing his career-high AFL fantasy score of 106 points. Lester made 20 disposals and kicked a goal in the final minutes of the match.

Ben Keays (FWD, $351,000) matched his career-high score of Round 6 again this weekend, scoring 80 points. Keays’ average score per round has increased to 70 points. The young player received a $19,000 price increase following Round 8 and made 13 disposals.
