Brisbane Lions Captain Dayne Beams will make his return from injury on Saturday against the Geelong Cats at the Gabba.

Beams missed one full match with a shoulder injury, but has made a quick return to full training and will be a welcome boost to the Lions side.

Matthew Hammelmann has earned a Senior recall after several impressive NEAFL performances, including three goals against Sydney University last weekend.

Hammelmann has played two Senior matches this year, against Adelaide in Round 9 and Collingwood in Round 10.

Named to play in the backline, Hammelmann is also capable of playing up forward.

Rohan Bewick will celebrate his 100th AFL match on Saturday, having made his debut for the Lions in Round 1, 2011.

Bounce down is at 7.25pm on Saturday.
