Rohan Bewick will play his 100th AFL match against the Geelong Cats at the Gabba tomorrow.

Bewick was drafted by the Brisbane Lions at the end of 2010 as a mature age recruit, having impressed in the WAFL for West Perth.

After a strong first pre-season, Bewick made his debut in Round 1 of the 2011 season, collecting 15 disposals and kicking one goal against Fremantle.

Looking back at his time with the Lions so far, Bewick said he was surprised to make it to milestone

"My 100th game is a big first milestone for me. I didn't expect to get there [to 100 games] when I first got drafted," Bewick said.

"I'm very happy to have made it and I'm looking forward to a few more games after this as well.

"I would like to stay in the Senior team. Obviously, the first and main goal is for the team to keep building and keep winning, which will hopefully take us into a good 2018."
