After a couple of quieter weeks, Dayne Beams (MID, $486,000) exploded into top form against Carlton on Sunday at the Gabba. Beams collected 142 AFL Fantasy points, which was easily the highest in the league for the Round, and was just three points shy of his highest output for the year. The Lions Captain finished with 30 disposals, three goals, one goal assist and four inside 50s.

Dayne Zorko (MID, $636,000) was also influential against the Blues, securing 119 AFL Fantasy points, just above his season average of 116.7 per game. Zorko did most of his damage in the first half against Carlton, including two brilliant goals in a destructive first term. With Carlton surprisingly deciding not to tag him, Zorko ended up with 26 disposals, three goals, five clearances and seven inside 50s.

Sam Mayes (DEF, $485,000) produced his best AFL Fantasy performance of the year on Sunday, tallying 113 points in another classy performance across halfback. Mayes collected 23 disposals, grabbed a team-high 12 marks and produced five rebound 50s.

Ryan Lester (FWD/MID, $378,000) cracked the ton against the Blues, with his 102 AFL Fantasy points coming from 26 disposals, one goal and nine marks.

Alex Witherden’s (DEF/MID, $387,000) price has almost doubled since his debut just over a month ago, and last week's Rising Star winner has been hit with another $40,000 price increase after a solid performance against the Blues. Witherden gathered 22 disposals to keep up his streak of collecting 20 plus touches since his debut.

Josh Walker (FWD, $300,000) had easily his best game of the year on Sunday, resulting in a season-high tally of 87 AFL Fantasy points.
