Four coaches locked in

The Brisbane Lions are proud to retain four coaches for a further two years.

The signatures of Ben Hudson, Josh Hunt, Danny Daly and Murray Davis demonstrates the Club’s commitment to creating a stable environment as the Lions move forward next season.

General Manager of Football David Noble said his department has been pleased with the quartet’s workload.

“Their skills in coaching are first class. Throughout the season they have been committed to the players’ education and development,” he said.

“More importantly, they have developed a healthy rapport with our players. They show a great level of care and interest in each one.”

The group will work continue working with Noble and Senior Coach Chris Fagan.

Ben Hudson has been with the Lions since 2015 and this season was Ruck and Midfield Coach.

Josh Hunt became the Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy Coach in February 2016 and will continue in the role.

Danny Daly, with 17 years of coaching experience, came to Brisbane in 2015 as the Stoppage Strategy Coach and this season became Football Strategy Coach.

Murray Davis has been with the Club since 2012 and in 2017 acted as Backline Coach.
