Luke Hodge will finish his illustrious playing career with the Brisbane Lions.

The Lions received Hodge and pick 44 from Hawthorn in exchange for picks 43 and 75.

Hodge played 305 games for Hawthorn across sixteen seasons after he was selected with the number 1 pick at the 2001 AFL Draft.

During his time at Waverley, he won four premierships, three as Captain.

Hodge is one of just three players in AFL history to have won the Norm Smith medal twice, for best on ground in an AFL Grand Final.

Hodge is also a three-time All-Australian blazer recipient.

Welcome to the Lions, Luke Hodge.
