The Brisbane Lions' six new draftees have received their guernsey numbers for 2018.

Cam Rayner: 16

Pick No. 1 in the 2017 AFL Draft, Cam Rayner will wear the famed number 16 jumper in 2018. Lions legend Johnathan Brown made the number 16 jumper his own in 256 games and 594 goals for the Club.

Zac Bailey: 33

Speedy midfielder Zac Bailey will wear the number 33 jumper in 2018, which was previously worn by Darryl White in 268 games for the Lions and Alan Gale in 213 games for Fitzroy.

Toby Wooller: 34

Key forward Toby Wooller takes up jumper number 34 for 2018. The versatile Grant Lawrie played 107 games for Fitzroy in the number 34 jumper.

Brandon Starcevich: 37

Brandon Starcevich will don the number 37 jumper in 2018 after Jacob Allison moved from 37 to 19 during the off season.

Connor Ballenden: 38

Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy graduate Connor Ballenden will wear the number 38 jumper in 2018, which was previously worn in 186 games by Fitzroy legend Leon Harris. Former Lions Captain Tom Rockliff played 154 games for the Club in the 38 jumper as well.

Jack Payne: 40

Another graduate of the Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy, defender Jack Payne will wear the number 40 jumper in 2018. Scott Clayton played 160 games for Fitzroy in the number 40 jumper and collected the Mitchell Medal as best and fairest of the Club in 1990.

Luke Hodge (#2), Charlie Cameron (#23) and Jacob Allison (#19) are the other Lions players to receive new, or switch, guernsey numbers ahead of the 2018 season.

New player profiles on lions.com.au for our draftees and new recruits will be added soon.
