Tom Cutler is unsure what to expect in Saturday’s AFLX fixture in Sydney, but one thing for sure is the new, fast format with only seven players on the field per side, will be exciting to watch.

“It’s pretty competitive. I understand that it’s been marketed as a fast-paced AFL styled game but once you get out there and play against other AFL players, it’s going to be full on I think,” Cutler said.

“I think it’s an exciting product. I think people will like it.”

Ahead of Saturday’s game, Cutler joined AFLX Coach Ben Hudson at the Brisbane Bullets training centre, where they were visited by some of the world’s greatest showman, none other than the Harlem Globetrotters.

“Scooter” and “Thunder” showed Cutler some tricks of the trade. Both became honorary Lions members after Cutler and Hudson presented them with guernseys.
