AFLW makes its debut in Burpengary, at the Moreton Bay Sports Complex! The Brisbane Lions will be taking on Collingwood in their last home game of the regular season for Round 6 of the NAB AFL Women’s Competition.

There’ll be plenty of great activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy including a kids zone with face-painting, hairstyling, temporary tattoos and awesome inflatables, a DJ and great giveaways. There will be a range of food options to suit everyone, and great drink options available. 

After an exciting match, look out for your favourite players giving away footballs and signing autographs, with thanks to The Coffee Club, then head on to the field like your AFLW heroes for McDonald's Kick to Kick post-match!

Gates open at 12.30pm with the U18 AFLW Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy and Suns Academy playing each other in a curtain raiser beginning at 12.30pm. 

Parking and shuttle bus services

Please note that Aquatic Centre Drive, Burpengary will be closed to motorists. Free shuttle bus services will be available for patrons attending the match.

Patrons are encouraged to catch public transport to Morayfield Train Station using their go card or by purchasing a ticket. Regular free shuttle bus services will operate opposite the station to and from the venue for patrons attending the game.

Shuttle bus services to and from the event will operate from the front of Morayfield State High School, Visentin Road, Morayfield (outside Morayfield Train Station) between 12noon and 7pm

Limited off-street parking and shuttle buses will also be available near the corner of Morayfield Road and Uhlmann Road, Burpengary. See parking information below for more information.

Limited parking - Corner of Uhlmann Road and Morayfield Road, Burpengary

Limited off-road car parking will be available near the corner of Morayfield Road and Uhlmann Road, opposite the Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex. Regular free shuttle bus services will operate to and from the venue for patrons attending the game. 

Please note once parking at this location is full, patrons will be directed to parking and shuttle bus services operating from Council Land further down Morayfield Road. Please follow the direction of Police and traffic control.

Disability parking

A disability drop off area, as well as limited disability parking will also be available at the venue located along Aquatic Centre Drive (upon presentation of a valid Queensland Government disabled parking permit). Patrons attending the event who require disability parking are encouraged to call AFLQ on 0414 468 820 for more information. 

Ground Information

Seating is not provided for this event. Patrons are permitted to bring along their own folding chairs to use. 

Half Time

Caralyn Jordan-Williams, from the Lions AFLW side's Official Partner Austraffic, will be shaving her head at half time as part of the World's Greatest Shave to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation
