The Brisbane Lions will take an unchanged team into Saturday's AFLW Grand Final against the Western Bulldogs.

Five Lions, all new recruits in 2018, are set to play their first Grand Final this weekend, including Emma Pittman, Nat Exon, Bella Ayre, Sophie Conway and Arianna Clarke.

Lions Captain Emma Zielke says the more experienced players will be looking to take the new recruits under their wing this weekend.

"We're in a better position than where we were last year," Zielke said.

"The older girls who have the experience from last year will bring those who are new under their wing and make sure they're well prepared for Saturday."

The last time the Lions and Bulldogs met was during the Round 2 clash at South Pine Sports Complex where the Bulldogs came away with a narrow nine-point victory.

Coming off the back of a spectacular win last Friday night against the GWS Giants, the Lions will be looking to start the game fast.

"I don't think it's luck that we're in the Grand Final again," Zielke said.

"I think our hard work, from November 22, is paying off and on Saturday we will get another crack at it."

The Lions will travel to Melbourne on Friday before Saturday's big dance at Ikon Park. Click here for Grand Final match information.
