Here's the latest on what's happening around the Club ahead of the Round 3 against Port Adelaide this Saturday. 

Injury List

Daniel Rich won’t play this week against Port Adelaide. He has progressed well in his recovery from an ankle injury and is out of the moonboot. He is likely to be another couple of weeks away from returning.

Marco Paparone is also progressing well and is a couple of weeks away from returning to action.

New draftee Jack Payne is in a moonboot as a precaution after picking up a hotspot in his shin. He will be sidelined for four to five weeks.

Sam Skinner took part in his first group training drill this morning since tearing his ACL last year.

A weekend for Milestones

It'll be a big weekend for our Captain who is set to play his 150th AFL game. 

Dayne Beams has played a crucial role in the development of the Club in recent years, captaining the side since 2017. 

Nick Robertson will also reach a milestone match this weekend, his 50th game. 

Robertson elevated his game to another level last season, playing all but one Senior match and has shown huge signs of improvement so far this year.

The first-ever Brunswick Street Bash is almost here!

Get to Brunswick St Oval this Sunday to watch past players of Fitzroy and Brisbane Lions take the field against fans as part of the inaugural AFL 9s style round-robin tournament.
