Daniel Rich and Andrew Crowell join Dom Fay and Michael Whiting on the latest episode of the Roar Deal.

After making his comeback from injury last weekend, Rich (@24.17) spoke to Fay and Whiting about his return to action and how the team is progressing.

"It's handy having an eight-day break this week so you get the extra day to recover which is nice," Rich said.

"I was a little bit rusty with a few decisions and execution errors under pressure.

"I did a fair bit of game watching and analysis while I was injured. I felt alright."

Despite a 0-6 start, Rich is confident a win isn't too far away.

"We are naturally competitive people so we all go out there to win games," he said.

"There's a lot of good stuff getting done behind the scenes.

"We know if we can stick to what we want to do, that W, which is the end result, isn't too far away."

Crowell (@46.21) joined the Roar Deal for the first time and chatted about his role as Head of Personal Excellence and Wellbeing at the Club and the challenges he faces on a short and long-term basis.

A former Adelaide Crows player, Crowell describes his role as developing players to be the best they can be and looking after their wellbeing.

"I handle a lot of the off-field work with the players. Anything not to do with football I'm involved," Crowell said.

"If the players need any help with any development area that's where I step in.

"There's a lot of key stakeholders we work with, including the recruitment team and parents of the players.

Crowell also talks about why he thinks the majority of players have been extending their contracts lately.
