GWS Giants forward Jeremy Cameron has been referred directly to the AFL Tribunal for his hit on Harris Andrews during the first quarter of Saturday's match between the Brisbane Lions and Giants. He cannot accept an early plea. 

A statement on behalf of Match Review Officer Michael Christian said: 

“Based on the available video evidence and medical report from the Brisbane Lions, the incident was classified as intentional conduct, severe impact and high contact.”

The Tribunal will sit tomorrow night. 

Darcy Gardiner has also been charged, after making careless contact with umpire Troy Pannell during the third quarter.
 
In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
