The order for the 2018 NAB AFL Women’s Draft has been finalised ahead of Tuesday's draft at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.

The Brisbane Lions will head into the draft with Pick No. nine, 22, 33, 45, 56 and 61.

The league has also put forward two compensation picks, these pick numbers will be confirmed on Tuesday.

The Club has already made two key signings ahead of the 2019 season including former Carlton midfielder Lauren Arnell and other-sport rookie Brianna McFarlane.

Lions AFLW Senior Coach Craig Starcevich said the Club is confident in obtaining the talent required to help bolster the side in 2019.

"We've had our eyes on a few key players for a while now so we have our thoughts arranged," Starcevich said.

"Every year the talent we bring in is better and better.

"You can never have too many midfielders so that aspect is certainly something we looked at [ahead of draft].

"They [the draft hopefuls] have been prominent all year round and we look forward to announcing them next Tuesday."
