The Brisbane Lions have re-selected Jacob Allison and Ryan Bastinac in the 2018 AFL Rookie Draft.

Allison and Bastinac were delisted in early November, but the Lions were committed to re-selecting them today. Bastinac was selected at Pick No. 4 and Allison at Pick No. 21.

A graduate of the Lions Academy, Allison was drafted at Pick No. 55 in the 2016 AFL Draft.

He played five Senior matches in his first season and added three more appearances in 2018.

A quick wingman with a lethal boot, Allison will be looking for more Senior opportunities in 2019.

Bastinac is a 161-game veteran but struggled in 2018 to crack the Senior side, playing just two matches.

A skilful midfielder/forward, he has arrived back for pre-season in excellent form and has been one of the best performers in the running sessions so far.
