Lions utility Jared Brennan and ruckman Jamie Charman have been recalled to the senior side for this Friday night’s blockbuster clash with Collingwood at the Gabba.
Brennan has recovered from a quad strain and returns for his first match of the 2009 season while Charman has been included in the team after gaining valuable match practice with the Lions Reserves last week.
The pair replaces Matthew Leuenberger – who underwent knee surgery earlier this week – and Albert Proud who has been omitted from the side that defeated Sydney by 33 points last Saturday night.
The inclusion of both Brennan and Charman adds valuable experience to the Lions team who are searching for their third win for the season.
