The leading Brisbane based cryptocurrency exchange have signed on for the next two seasons with an option for a further one-year extension.

The deal is set to deliver a flow on effect with Lions CEO Greg Swann declaring the Club would now be investigating opportunities for investment through the partnership with Swyftx.

Swyftx is Australia’s top rated cryptocurrency exchange on Trustpilot and was a 2021 High Growth Business of the Year winner.

The company was founded in 2018 and now supports more than 470,000 customers around the country.

Senior coach Chris Fagan thanked Swyftx for their support and said the successes of the award-winning business were an inspiration to the coaches.

“As a coaching group we are always looking for ways to encourage growth in our players and to reward our stakeholders, which are our members and fans, with our performances,’’ he said.

“In Swyftx I see an organisation that has achieved incredible growth and delivered a first-class platform for their clients.’’

Swyftx CEO Ryan Parsons also saw synergy with the Lions and said he was confident the partnership would be rewarding for both parties.

“This partnership brings together the best AFL team in Australia and its most popular cryptocurrency exchange. We’re both progressive teams with strong values so we’re delighted to be joining forces, Parsons said.

“Chris Fagan is one of the most respected coaches in Australian sport, with a huge following and an exciting coaching team behind him. We’re looking forward to seeing what our two great Brisbane-based teams can build.”
