The Brisbane Lions are today proud to announce a three-year major partnership with Australian premium Infant Formula manufacturer Camperdown Dairy International.

The multi-million dollar sponsorship will see the Camperdown Dairy International logo take pride of place on the team’s guernsey and includes significant signage, branding and activation opportunities across Brisbane Lions assets.

The milk used in Camperdown Dairy International products is all Australian produced, which gives CDI the ability to control and monitor the quality of products throughout the production process to ensure customers receive consistent and safe products of the highest quality.

With an existing facility in Melbourne and an additional new multi-million dollar facility under construction, in Camperdown Victoria, to provide quality Infant Formula, nutritional powders and  milk powders Camperdown Dairy International is set to grow its presence across the Australian market.

Lions CEO Greg Swann said the Club was thrilled with the partnership and to welcome such a proud Australian company into the Brisbane Lions family.

"Camperdown Dairy International are an Australian produced company with a business footprint right across the nation," said Swann.

"Our two great brands coming together for the next three years will help us both generate strong results both on and off the field.

"To have Camperdown Dairy International joining Vero as our two co-major partners puts the Club in a fantastic position - these partnerships are key to the future success of the Lions."

Camperdown Dairy International Global Head of Projects Adam Green said partnering with the Lions would help the company increase their reach across the Australian market.

"At Camperdown Dairy International, we know how important quality, safety and reliability are to our customers and we are committed to delivering this in all of our products," said Mr Green.

Camperdown Dairy International and the Lions both have links to a proud and long heritage in the Western Districts region, with the area the former recruiting zone for Fitzroy and Camperdown Dairy International undertaking significant investment in the region.

The Western Districts region has been responsible for producing some of the Club’s best talent from Fitzroy, the Brisbane Bears, and most recently the Brisbane Lions.

Most notably 2014 Rising Star Lewis Taylor is from Mortlake and former champion forward Jonathan Brown was born in Warrnambool.

"It's a natural partnership that will allow our business to gain greater exposure across Australia.

"Our top priority is to provide all families with the opportunity to obtain premium quality, Australian made products and we are privileged  to become part of the Lions family."

The major partnership comes on the back of a string of positive announcements for the Brisbane Lions, with Senior Coach Justin Leppitsch extending his contract to 2017 earlier this week.

A hugely successful off season has also seen the Club re-sign 10 players including Vice-Captains Dayne Zorko and Pearce Hanley as well as Stefan Martin, Mitch Robinson, Marco Paparone, Harris Andrews, Ryan Harwood, Jaden McGrath, Rohan Bewick and Josh Clayton.
