The Brisbane Lions has announced its jumper numbers for its 2017 women’s squad.

Marquee selection Tayla Harris, will wear No.7, which is the number she has worn for most of her playing career.

Priority pick Emma Zielke will wear the No.8, a lucky number for the 28-year-old, while the Lions’ number 2 draft pick Emily Bates will don the number 1 jumper.

The Lions assembled at AFL Queensland's home base at Yeronga for their maiden session as a group to launch the team’s preparations for the inaugural 2017 AFL Women’s season last night.
