The Redland Bombers have a tough task on their hand at home on Saturday, taking on a Brisbane Lions outfit.

The Lions suffered their first loss of the 2017 season last weekend against the Swans after they were undefeated from four matches.

Meanwhile, the last placed Bombers are on the up after almost stealing the Quandamooka-Turrbul Trophy from Aspley at Graham Road, with just two late goals to the Hornets denying Redland their first points for 2017.

Redland will need contributions from their big guns, six of which have been selected in the 2017 NEAFL Representative Squad, namely skipper Hayden Bertoli-Simmonds, ruckman Craig Malone, former Lion Sam Michael, youngster Jack Rolls and high flyer Clay Cameron.

Injuries to Lions Mitch Robinson and Dan McStay in the seniors may have a knock on effect which sees Brisbane take in fewer listed players.
