The Brisbane Lions emerged from Sunday’s match against the Richmond Tigers unscathed on the injury front.

“We got out of the match pretty well on the injury front,” Head of Medical Peter Blanch said.

“A few bumps and bruises but I don’t think there will be anything there that will keep anyone out this week.”

In encouraging news, Darcy Gardiner is a strong chance of returning to action this weekend.

Gardiner has missed the past two matches after dislocating his elbow early on in the Lions Round 15 clash against Essendon.

“Darcy is going very, very well. He will try and get into full training tomorrow and hopefully will be up for this weekend,” Blanch said.

“If not up for this weekend, he will be up for the following weekend.”

LIONS HEALTH CENTRE: INJURY LIST

Claye Beams is almost certain to return this weekend, while Ryan Harwood may return, but under a restricted workload.

Claye has done very well and has trained very hard. He will be fully available,” Blanch said.

“Ryan has had a few problems with illnesses and has had interrupted training. He will be back but it may be under a lesser load.”
