This Saturday the Brisbane Lions Women's team will hit the field for their first match of 2019.
With only two weeks remaining until Round 1, the Lions will take on GWS Giants in a pre-season practice match at Leyshon Park, Yeronga.
The last time the two sides met was during the 2018 AFLW Winter Series, where the Lions came away with an undefeated Winter Series Campaign.
This Saturday's match will be the only practice game the Lions play before the season gets underway on Sunday, 3 February.
Entry to the match is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the Yeronga Club House canteen and bar from 2.00pm.
The match is set to be live-streamed via the Brisbane Lions Facebook page from 3.00pm.
