Ruckman Stefan Martin and Allen Christensen will play their first JLT matches of 2019, after being named on the Lions' eight-man interchange bench.

After an impressive performance in the NEAFL practice match one week prior, Ben Keays joins the line-up set to play Melbourne Demons at Casey Fields.

Lions fans will also get their first taste of Thomas Berry, younger brother of Jarrod, in Lions colours this weekend.

Ely Smith, Brandon Starcevich and Connor Ballenden have been omitted.

The match will be broadcasted live on Fox Footy and the AFL Live App. Updates from the match will be on the Lions' Twitter account.
