In 2019 Hyundai welcomed eleven children’s organisations through the doors of their Hyundai Help for Kids iView at the Gabba for Brisbane Lions home games.

For a few hours the children and their parents were provided a reprieve from the stress of what they may have been going through in their home life.

The iView is exclusive to Hyundai Australia’s dedicated corporate social responsibility initiative; Hyundai Help for Kids beneficiaries as well as locally supported programs of Hyundai Northern Region.

The organisations who attended the iView this year included the Mater Foundation, Down Syndrome – Queensland, Little Stars Kids, Ronald McDonald House – SEQ, Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy, Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation, Royal Institute for Deaf & Blind Children, Assistance Dogs Australia, Former Origin Greats - Artie Academy, Darling Point Special School and Make A Wish Australia.

As soon as the children and their families stepped through the iView’s doors, they were greeted with a jungle themed spread of party footy, activities and props – not to mention the best seats in the Gabba house.

During the game they were treated to face painting, dress ups and at half time Lions players would visit them, along with their favourite Lion Roy, who gave endless amounts of hugs.

Hyundai Motor Company Australia’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Ellenore Ibrahim said the iView has a clear objective.

"The purpose of Hyundai Help for Kids iView is to create a safe and inclusive environment for children and their families to have some time out, time together and a great time and we couldn’t do it without the support of Brisbane Lions Football Club,” Ibrahim said.

Judging by the smiles on all those who attended throughout the year, this objective was achieved.
