Daniel Rich and Jack Frost have been cooking up a storm this week, making some scrumptious Paleo Hero Choc Granola Protein Balls!

Our paleo Choc Granola Protein Balls are a deliciously healthy post-workout treat. Chocolate lovers will find themselves demolishing this indulgent snack.

Things you Need

  • 1 cup Paleo Hero Primal Choc Granola
  • 12 fresh dates, pitted 
  • 1/4 cup protein powder e.g whey, pea protein, hemp (optional)
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao
  • Water
  • Your choice of shredded coconut, chia seeds, sesame seeds etc. for rolling

Method 

Place dates in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Add Primal Choc Granola, protein powder and cacao to dates and begin mixing.

While processor is on, gradually add water until you get a sticky wet paste.

Roll mix into balls of your desired size then coat in your favourite coating. We love using chia seeds or hemp seeds for that extra protein hit. 

These healthy post-workout protein balls will keep for a week in the fridge.
