Roll out the black carpet! In honour of Triple A celebrating 3 deadly decades and back by popular demand.
We are thrilled that our city Brisbane is the 2023 host city for the National NAIDOC Ball and thought we wouldn’t need a local ball, but listening to the local voices of the community, Triple A are excited to announce the Triple A Community Ball: Celebrating Brisbane Black Excellence in recognition and celebration of 2023 NAIDOC Week. We are working closely with the National NAIDOC Committee and as a media partner so community have clear communications of both events and can attend both events that will be held on separate nights.
Triple A will host the local Ball to continue to celebrate and acknowledge our local South-East Queensland community for their achievements and ongoing work within our respective communities and or industries as voted by members of the community.
The Triple A Community Ball will be a night of celebration, recognition, entertainment and most importantly bringing our community together to celebrate local community and our culture.
The event will host the 2023 Brisbane Black Excellence Awards with categories; Elder, Youth, Community Person, Sportsperson, Education, Innovation and Creative Arts. These awards acknowledge our First Nations community and their achievements. Nominations are now open and close 2nd June. So spread the word and go get voting.

Triple A Community Ball will be held on Saturday 8th July at Brisbane City Hall kicking off from 7pm and will be a ticketed. Tickets sell fast so get in quick!
Tickets are $150pp which includes 3 course-meal, 5-hour drinks package. No individual sale table bookings only for 10 people per table. Tickets on sale 8th May at 9am purchase your table via the website www.brisbanenaidoc.org.au.
