The Brisbane Lions VFL side have made two changes as they prepare to take on Sandringham Zebras on Saturday at RSEA Park.

Lively forward, Ben Thomas returns to the side while Curtis McCarthy will make his VFL debut after being a late out last week.

Sam Marshall, who was the substitute at AFL level last week but also played VFL in the Lions thrilling one-point win over Collingwood.

Henry Smith will miss the Lions clash against the Zebras after entering concussion protocols while James Creighton has been omitted.

Youi Brisbane Lions Academy member Wyatt Greenaway has been named as an emergency alongside Tristen Meekin, Taylem Wason and Creighton.
