Sunday afternoon Cam Rayner and Zac Bailey will run out against Narrm celebrating their 150th game for the Brisbane Lions, a journey which started way back at the 2017 National AFL Draft.
Rayner, the number 1 draft pick that year was joined by Bailey at the Lions den after he was selected with pick 15.
Both Rayner and Bailey have come a long way since their early days at the Club, now calling themselves premiership players.

Drafted from the Western Jets, Rayner was touted as a player with an X-factor who was as good overhead as was at ground level and capable of breaking games open with his power and skill, debuting against St Kilda in Round 1, 2018.
Hailing from Darwin, Bailey moved to Adelaide to complete his schooling at Price Alfred College who got a name as a game-breaker, debuting at AFL level in Round 4 against Richmond at the MCG in 2018.
Addressing media yesterday, Rayner touched on his and Bailey’s journey after being drafted together in 2017.
“I think this is something that we’re always going to remember, especially with both our families here as well,” Rayner said.
“Coming to the Club at the same time, we’ve had different journey’s but for it to match up and play our 150th on the same day is pretty cool.
“For me it’s something really special, it’s a goal you set your mind to when you get drafted but as I look back on my career it’s something to be really proud of.”

Making his debut back in 2018, Bailey recalled the advice he received at the beginning of his career.
“Years ago I was told my career would go by really quickly and I didn’t believe them but now I’m standing here about to play 150 games which is really amazing and its been an unbelievable experience so far,” Bailey said.
“It's always been a dream mind to just play one AFL game so to be standing here playing after playing 150s truly amazing and to have won a Grand Final as well in that amount of time is really awesome.”
