The Brisbane Lions today announced their eighth consecutive year of membership growth with a record 65,000 fans signing on as members so far in 2025.

Brisbane Lions CEO, Greg Swann, said with four top quality home matches remaining the club expects to break 70,000 by the end of the season.

“On behalf of everyone involved in the club, I want to thank our members for their unwavering support.

“Regardless of where we’re playing across the country, our members will turn out in force to support our men’s and women’s playing groups.

“We think we’ll end up with over 70,000 members, which when you look at it, is twice the Gabba’s capacity"

“When I started at Brisbane in 2014, we were actually losing members year on year so for the club to be on this ongoing growth trajectory is really satisfying.”

The Lions have four home games remaining at the Gabba this season against Port Adelaide, Western Bulldogs, Sydney and Hawthorn.
