Hugh McCluggage (29 disposals) battled hard, while Lincoln McCarthy (three goals) looked like giving it life a number of times. The defeat left the Lions clinging to fourth place. Best on field were McCluggage, McCarthy, McInerney & Starcevich. Hopefully the Lions can keep up their winning streak and defeat The Bombers in round 9!
