Two Club favourites re-sign and not only are we facing one of our fiercest rivals this Friday night, but it’s almost as if Finals are coming three weeks early this week against thePies.

Last Time We Met
Collingwood travelled up to the Gabba in Round 4 this year in another classic Easter Thursday blockbuster. For those with short memories, we can happily remind you of a hopping good win!
Here's what the AFL said:
"Despite some Gabba light issues in Round 2, it was Charlie that ensured that Gabba was lit for Round 4, kicking a bag of six goals. Cam Rayner was also “trialled” up forward after playing halfback the first three rounds — the bloke kicked four goals and has been allergic to the defensive 50 ever since! (we added that part)"
Brisbane have won their last five matches against Collingwood. However, four of those have been in the Lions den, this will be only the second time Brisbane have travelled to Pie territory.
After Collingwood copped an L in Round 4 they went away and won 14 games in a row, firmly cementing themselves at the top of the ladder.
Excited About
Not gonna lie, bloody excited to be back to entertain our Vic members and fans in a packed out Marvel Stadium.
It'll be the definition of a big test, with both teams having similar lead ins to this match, winning three from their last five.
Not even the bookies can split the teams, at time of writing both paying $1.92 the win. It will come down to who wants it more.
Match-ups we're keen for
Jack Payne vs Dan McStay
Now, we don't know if Payney or Harris will take Dmac this week, but with our keyboard expert knowledge, we're happy to throw a Hail Mary and back our man Payney in.
Don't get us wrong, we love Dan McStay, and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing him succeed down in the Pie Shop.
However...
We do still think the black and white looks a bit strange on him and wouldn't mind if he chose this week to not kick any goals!
