Hi Ash, Big fan of your work & looking forward to seeing the boys improvement towards the end of the year. Non footy related, but I've just met a lovely lady, and I'm taking her on a date. Its been a while. Do you have any tips for me???
- Big Chris from Yeronga, QLD

G’day Chris, it’s not the first time I’ve had to give you dating advice. I think the last time you went on a date you went somewhere that was well-lit, so she could pick out all your imperfections. So the tip for me is to take her somewhere dark, so she can only pick out the imperfections of your personality.

Help Ash! We are finding it difficult to watch good players play poorly...what are the seniors doing to turn this around?
- Rosemary from Bendigo, VIC

We are trying our best to rectify everything, it’s probably our first quarters which are killing us at the moment!

It’s all down to how we get out of the blocks. So hopefully we can do that this week against West Coast.

During the game against Sydney Swans, some of the commentators referred to your weight. You look fine to me Ash but I was wondering if there has been much change in your weight from when you first played with the Lions?
- Sheryn from East Brisbane, QLD

Yeah just getting a bit older so the weight's getting a bit harder to keep off. I’m around my goal weight, but Blacky stitched me up in the commentary the other week which is always nice from one of your team mates.

Hi Ash,could you please tell me what's going on with Jordan lisle, why isn't he playing seniors.GO LIONS.
- Sam from Lovelybanks, QLD

He will get a game this week against West Coast, so it will be good to see him get out there and play well.

Tom Rockliff said on LIONS TV that you have a heap of nicknames. Can you share them with us along with how you got them?
- Gary from Browns Plains, QLD

Yeah Rocky said I have heaps of nicknames, but I actually only really have one and that’s Bunji.

Rocky says I have plenty but it’s him who has plenty. The boys have been calling him Lil' Jon because he tries to do everything Jonathan Brown does; he tapes his wrist, has the same haircut and always gets around in his Adidas kit. So yeah Little John or 'Chow' from the Hang Over.

My son just got his first ever Lions jumper! Whose number should I put on the back?
- Brenda from Dandenong, VIC

I dunno let him choose his own. Ask him who his favourite player is.

Great news about the 3-Peat jumper! Are you rapt you’ll get to wear it against Ess and Coll? Any chance of it coming back for good?!
- Andrew from Coorparoo, QLD

Yeah it’ll be good to get back in the old jumper, it’s been a while since we've worn it. But I don't think it's back for good, we're only wearing it a couple of times this year.

Who is the best singer at the club. I know Shermo used to fancy himself a bit, and Browny loves to belt out a tune on the footy show – but is there anyone with REAL talent?
- Delta from Sydney, NSW

Jack Redden thinks he’s a good singer and probably Dan Merrett. He is one of the ones always belting out tunes, so Big Red Sauce is pretty good!

How come Billy Longer had a bandage on his head BEFORE last week’s game? Did he go too hard in the warm-up?
- Bradley from Inverloch, VIC

Funny story; Billy Longer actually sneezed while he was in the toilet and because he wore boots into the toilet, the ground was a bit slippery and he slipped over and hit his head on the basin. Billy Longer is not the smartest bloke at the best of times but he now knows to wear shoes into the bathroom before the game.

Do you get to go sightseeing when you visit places like Sydney?
- Ben from Ascot Vale, VIC

We stay at the Harbour in Sydney so most of the boys go down and see the bridge and the Opera House while we grab a coffee, but that’s about as far as it goes for sight seeing.
