PEARCE HANLEY has been named in Brisbane’s final 22 to take on North Melbourne at The Gabba on Saturday.

Hanley was subbed out in last weekend’s loss to Melbourne with hamstring discomfort and was put through a fitness test at main training yesterday. Barring any late changes, the 26-year old will resume his place in the Lions’ line-up.

Match Preview: Lions V North Melbourne

Defender Ryan Harwood will miss, sidelined with a hip injury and youngster, Liam Dawson, has been recalled after an impressive month in the NEAFL for the Reserves.

The 19-year old played three consecutive matches from his debut in round eight.

Dawson will play alongside veteran Jed Adcock who will celebrate game 200 against North.

“It’s huge for the Club, we haven’t had too many 200 game players at our Football Club”, Senior Coach Justin Leppitsch said today.

“It’s a huge effort from Jed to be able to stick it out during a really difficult era under his watch.”

“He’s been a real mainstay behind the footy club.”

Rohan Bewick, Tom Cutler and Hugh Beasley have been listed as emergencies.
