Exciting utility Rohan Bewick has re-signed with the Brisbane Lions.

The West Australian, who has played 78 games for the Club since making his debut in 2011, signed a new one-year deal.

The 26 year-old played 15 games for the Lions in 2015, as well as travelling frequently as the team’s emergency.

He played roles between half forward and the wing, kicking three goals against the Giants in Round 10 and collecting a season-high 25 disposals against the Western Bulldogs in Round 23.

Lions List Manager Peter Schwab said the Club was pleased to have re-signed Bewick, who also has the ability to take a spectacular grab.

“Rohan is the last of the primary list players from last year to be re-contracted. It’s been a long wait for him and we appreciate his patience.

“We’re really pleased to retain Rohan and look forward to a good season ahead.”

In other Lions list news, forward Jackson Paine will be delisted, then re-drafted by the Club as a nominated rookie.

Midfielder Zac O’Brien has been delisted. O’Brien played 13 games with the Lions over two seasons after being drafted as a mature aged rookie from Essendon’s VFL side in 2013.

The Brisbane Lions thank Zac for his contribution to the Club and wish him all the very best for the future.
