In Round 16, 1978, Fitzroy raced to a 21-point lead at halftime. Hawthorn rallied to lead by five points with only a few minutes left. But it was Robert Walls who put Fitzroy a point ahead in the dying moments - 18.14 (122) to 17.19 (121)
