The Brisbane Lions have named both skipper Tom Rockliff and star ruckman Stefan Martin for Saturday night’s clash with the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.

Martin was declared fit to play this afternoon after Club doctors made the final call following Thursday training.

The 29-year-old was concussed by a heavy hit from the SUNS’ Steven May last Saturday night. The Gold Coast vice-captain was handed a five-week suspension by the AFL tribunal.

"You have to get through the physical element, and not get headaches and things like that, which he hasn't had to date, but this is probably one of the biggest workloads he'll do and if he gets through that I can't see why he won't play," Senior Coach Justin Leppitsch told reporters before training this morning.
