In this week's Carlton Draught Throwback Thursday, we go back to one of the biggest comebacks in Brisbane Lions and Brisbane Bears history, it was Round 16 1995.

A warm Sunday afternoon in July and the Bears were lining up to take on the Hawks in a showdown at the Gabba.

The Bears had trailed at every change, and found themselves 45 points in arrears at three-quarter time.

At this point, Hawthorn coach Peter Knights, who had previously been in charge of Brisbane, infamously decided to move his team into the shade to provide a brief repreive from teh Queensland sun.

The move seemed to have backfired as the Bears kicked nine goals to one in a dominant final term display, going on to win by seven points.

The comeback seemed to have kicked things off with the Brisbane Bears winning six of their next seven games to make the finals for the first time in their eight-year history.
