In this week’s Carlton Draught Throwback Thursday we go back to Craig Lambert’s first season with the Brisbane Bears in 1994.

After playing 123 combined VFL and AFL games for Richmond between 1988 and 1993, Craig Lambert made the move north to Brisbane where he began his career at the Brisbane Bears in 1994.

Lambert’s first year with the Bears kicked off as he took out the Bears’ Best & Fairest after a stellar year on the track.

In that year alone, Lambert played 19 games and had an average of 24 disposals per game – he also laid 59 tackles that season alone.

Lambert went on to play for another seven season for the Lions.
