The Brisbane Lions' two Marquee players, and four Queensland representatives will be on show in Saturday's Women’s All-Star match. The two squads have been formed to showcase the countries best women's talent as a last opportunity for high level football before the start of the National Womens League in 2017. The showcase game will be a little glimpse into the future of what the new league will be like. It's an exciting arena for the Lions girls to test themselves out against the best of the best.

Brisbane Lions' marquee players Sabrina Frederick-Traub and Tayla Harris will both play in Melbourne Demons colours while fellow Queensland products Leah Kaslar, Emily Bates and Tahlia Randall will play for the Bulldogs side. Priority pick Kaitlyn Ashmore will also play for the Bulldog's side, while Emma Zielke who was included in the Bulldogs initial list, unfortunately will not be available.

The teams will play for the Hampson-Hardeman Cup, which recognises Barb Hampson and Lisa Hardeman, pioneers in developing the first women's championships in 1998.

This will be the perfect opportunity to see our marquee players in action. The game can be viewed on free-to-air Channel 7 at 7:10pm (AEST), live streamed on afl.com.au or you can watch live at Whitten Oval.
